Bible Study
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Learning together
Opening the Scriptures
Sunday’s sermon is only the beginning. In Bible study, members read a passage together, ask questions, and consider what it means for daily life — at home, at work and in the town.
A simple way to study through the week is to take the theme of the coming Sunday, read the passages set for it, and bring your questions with you to church.
The day and time of the Bible study will be published here. Until then, please ask in church.

How we study
Four simple questions
Useful for a group, a family or on your own.
What does it say?
Read the passage slowly, twice. Notice who is speaking and what happens.
What does it mean?
What did this mean for its first hearers? What does it show us about God?
What does it ask?
Is there a promise to trust, a command to obey or an example to follow?
How shall we pray?
Turn what you have read into thanksgiving, confession and prayer for others.
