“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” — Isaiah 56:7
Praying together
A praying church
Prayer holds the life of the congregation together. Members meet to pray for the sick and the bereaved, for families and children, for the ministries of the church, for the town of Sulur, and for the nation.
Alongside the regular meetings, the church keeps particular seasons of prayer through the year:
- Ash Wednesday — an evening service at 7:00 PM to begin Lent
- Holy Week — evening services at 7:00 PM from Monday to Maundy Thursday
- Praise and Worship — a Sunday given to prayer and praise, as on 31 May 2026
- Watch Night — thanksgiving for the old year from 10:30 PM on 31 December, leading into the New Year service
The days and times of the weekly prayer meetings will be published here. Until then, please ask in church.

Requests go to the presbyter, and are shared in church only if you say so.
